This is a nice little BOOKLET put out in 1952 by
THE ATLANTIC OIL REFINING COMPANY
to advertise their ATLANTIC products. It is 4-7/8" wide by 6-3/4" high and contains 35 numbered pages - back cover not counted. The booklet is entitled "
PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL HIGHLIGHTS
". The inside is packed full of professional football information from the 1952 era. At that time their were only 10 teams as follows: National Conference: Chicago Bears, Dallas Texans, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers - American Conference: Chicago Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Redskins. There is a one page spread on each team which includes their "All Time Record" - Coach - Last Years Performance and their 1952 Schedule of Games. Plus many more pages of neat articles - "Professional Signals and What They Mean" - Professional Rule Changes for 1952 - "The Men Behind the 'Mike' on Atlantic's Football network" - "Rules Variations Collegiate vs. Professional" - and many more. A must have for the Professional Foot Collector. This item is in excellent condition except for some insect damage at the top of the front and rear covers - See my photos for the exact condition.
