Handsome fold-out 1964 Atlantic road map of Philadelphia and vicinity, printed more than 56 years ago.
The map opens to 23" x 36" and has great detail on old street and highway alignments, with cartography by Rand McNally.
The northern portion of the city is on one side; the southern portion is on the other.
The coverage area includes Valley Falls, Elkins Park, Abington, Roslyn, Lester, Penn Wynn, Sharon Hill, Bala, Cynwyd, Lansdowne, Merion, Noble, and Camden, New Jersey.
The map was distributed by the Atlantic Refining Company in 1964 to promote its Imperial gasoline and motor oil.
The map is dated in the legend, and the code number in the lower margin is 64604909-4.
