    THIS IS A 1965 50 CENT CERTIFICATE.  IT WAS THE FIRST YEAR OF DOLLAR DENOMINATED CERTIFICATES, MAKING IT WORTHY OF COLLECTORS CONSIDERATION.  THE BILL DOES HAVE A "SMUDGE" IN THE LOWER FRONT CORNER, ACCOUNTING FOR THE LOWER PRICE.  FOR STARTING COLLECTORS, THIS MIGHT BE A GOOD CHOICE!
