It has a central vertical fold and additional vertical light folds. It also has a central horizontal fold. The note shows some soiling but has no major or objectionable stains. The note's paper itself is still relatively crisp and not floppy or soft. There are no tears into the border area, although the edges do show some wear, especially at the ends of the fold and the security thread. The corners also show wear, some soiling and some rounding, but are intact without major bumps. The note has no graffiti, no pinholes, no tears, and no splits. Please see photo for additional condition information.

    Description:
A nice very fine or much better banknote from the Tunis. This is the 15 October 1973 five dinars issued by the Central Bank of Tunis. The note is brown, yellow, orange, and green in color and has the image of al-Habib Bourguiba to the left of the center of the front with the image of the old city Sousse in the bottom left corner and the image of a water front with 3 row boats lined on the shore. Bourguiba was the leader of the revolt against France and his revolt won Tunis its independence in 1956. The back of the note has the same color scheme as the front and has a montage of a minaret, ancient coin, camels going through an old gate, a dome, a newer Highrise building, etc. The note has two signatures in black as well as the serial number also in black on the front. This particular note has the serial number 001585 (which we like) and it is series C/1. The note has a water mark depicting the bust of al-Habib Bourguiba.
