I have always been a sucker for the classic "ghost glass" effect, which is usually done with a small flat piece of glass.  A card is selected and when someone breaths on the piece of glass, the chosen card value appears in the fog on the glass.
Well, this update puts the magical appearance on the bottom of "an ordinary glass ashtray".
Not an easy prop to get a good photo of, but you get the idea.  (The card value shows up briefly and clearly -- it is washed out in the photo by the flash.)    The spectator or magician breaths on underside of the ashtray and the card value and suit appear (2 of clubs for the underside).
The ashtray is prepared so that if you breath on the inside bottom of the ashtray, the 7H appears.
As with most ghost glass props, they are a bit particular, and they do not work particularly well when the room is hot -- best during the cooler months or when your venue is running the air conditioner.
I did not test what happens if you burn paper in the ashtray, or use it to snuff out cigarettes.  I suspect that the inside ghost number  (7H) would probably be ruined by burning a billet in the ashtray.   But I don't think it would effect the ghost number that is on the bottom of the base (underside of the ashtray).  So you could probably do a routine where the spectator chooses a card (the 2C, of course), writes it down on a billet, the billet is burned in the ashtray and then the card name appears on the underside of the ashtray.   (Again, have not tested this...)
Because I could not fully test this product, I am putting this one out at a great price.    I saw these listed elsewhere for .   (Granted, that listing included a special deck to help you force the selections.)    No deck included, but use your own, and your favorite method to have the proper card selected, and save some $$$
This is a nice prop, made in real glass.
