There are loads of places around to buy foreign coin lots. Some of them make outrageous claims that the coins come from bags inherited from great grandparents that haven't been opened in 75 years (or some other mysterious origin) and no pair of human eyes has been laid on them since.
I can't make promises that you'll find silver coins or coins dated in the 1800's or from one of my lots, but the sad truth is, we spend our days (and nights) with US coins and given the sheer volume of bulk foreign coin purchases we make, we just don't have the time to go through every single one of them. That's why we offer lots like this one. We're in a community of retirees who were collectors and/or world travelers, so there's a chance you'll run across some truly unusual pieces.
When we weigh each lot, we check for corroded or excessively crusty or dirty pieces. Those are removed so you can be sure you'll be getting good quality coins.
