    Description

    Original Deland’s Automatic Playing Cards (c. 1940-60s)
This is an original unopened deck of Deland’s Automatic Playing Cards put out by S.S. Adams. This is one of the earlier decks since it has a real tax revenue stamp on the box that was issued between 1940 and 1965. The box is a lighter shade of blue than most of the other decks I have seen. Includes a yellow sheet of instructions.
This deck is from a magic shop inventory that went out of business in the 1970s and is in good condition for its age.
This item is in new condition but shows its age as pictured. It has been in storage for more than 50 years and is part of the remaining inventory from Danny Tsukalas’ Macy’s Magic Counter that was housed at their flagship store in New York City for many years. It closed either in the late 1960s or early 1970s.
