Digital Input + 8 analog output + extra MIDI in/out for MV-8000, MV-8800
This is a MV8-OP1 compatible card.
Digital Input: S/PDIf Coax and Optical connection, featuring sample rate converter onboard. Will take anything up to 192kHz.
8 channel analog output (add-on): using latest 32bit capable DAC from TI/Burr-Brown.
Extra MIDI In/Out: This is taken from RBUS, so it's an extra midi in/out pair. You can choose R1-R16 (RBUS MIDI 1-16) for midi related assignments, in addition to the regular 16 channels available.
Digital input features a hardware switch, with LEDs indicating which input (coax or optical) is currently selected. Under the sampling menu, as long as you're in one of the digital input modes (coax, optical or RBUS), the hardware switch on this card will override the menu input selection on your MV. Note that you need a OP1 card installed (original or this one), in order to have access to digital input selection under the sampling menu. There's no software to install. It comes up as long as you have an original OP1 or this card installed.
